Today lets see how to make paneer at home. we can make lot of recipes in paneer Paneer butter malsala, Paneer peas masala Paneer ghee roast, Kofta Curry We need just 2 ingredients for making this recipe. Milk and lemon juice. lets get started. I have taken 2 liter of full fat milk. Use fut fat milk to get more paneer. Stir in between to prevent sticking to the bottom. Save the cream for making sweets or ghee.
Once the milk comes to a slight boil We need to curdle the milk. We can use lemon juice or vinegar to curdle the milk. Vinegar leaves a strong flavor so I prefer lemon juice. Gradually add the lemon juice and curdle the milk I have taken 4 tbsp of lemon juice. Once the milk solids and whey separates turn off heat . strain it through a cheese cloth or light cotton cloth rinse it with water to get rid of any lemon flavor. Whey is very nutritious, we can use it in many other recipes. place a perforated plate or colander to drain the whey. Place a weight on the top to squeeze excess water. Let it sit for 2 hours After 2 hours lets check Cut it into desired size. Refrigerate if used within 3 to 4 days or freeze for longer shelf life That's it our homemade paneer is ready..
